Atta Girl Productions nurtures accessible, awe-inspiring activist performance for people of all ages and backgrounds.  Through workshops and performances, we seek to transform the human experience. 

Our Story

Atta Girl Productions comes out of a longtime friendship between artists Selena Sue Navarro and Lisa Cortez Walden.  The two met in highschool, performing in plays together.   After college, both lived and worked together in the Bay Area as actresses.  Now back in San Antonio, the two have teamed up once again--this time, to create their own production company."We're very fortunate to be able to insist on doing things on our terms"  says Cortez Walden, General Manager.  Navarro adds, "We have an opportunity to return to our dream of creating our own theatre company and we're not passing it up"
